About Coach XT | Tan Xu Teng, Tennis Coach Singapore

Tan Xu Teng, known to his players as Coach XT, has been coaching in Singapore since 2001 and founded TAG International Tennis Academy in 2007. He is one of very few coaches here who has competed on an international seniors tour while simultaneously running a national-level junior programme. What follows is the short version of the record: ranking, titles, certifications, appointments and school results, set out in the order parents and players usually ask for them.

Playing style

Right-handed, with a single-handed backhand he can hit with heavy topspin or slice. His game is an all-court counter-punching style built on fitness, movement and court coverage rather than raw power, which is also how he teaches: see tennis coaching in Singapore and tennis lessons in Singapore for how that translates into a lesson.
